About Eastern Mystic Jewellery

The brainchild of British born and self-taught designer, Sonal Talgeri-Bhaskaran, Eastern Mystic entices you into India’s rich and exotic past.

Sonal was drawn to making jewellery when the pressures of a demanding banking career and the sudden loss of her father unearthed a need for a creative escape.

After discovering a new found passion for creating jewellery, she left her career with Goldman Sachs to focus on her collections, which capture the essence of her Indian heritage whilst standing out as prominent design-led statement pieces.

Translated into modern and wearable works of art, these handmade adornments unravel fascinating stories of vibrant tribal cultures and lure you into a world of myths, legends and folklore whilst bringing to life the opulence and romance of the Mughal Era.

Launched in September 2009 as part of the first BJA KICKSTART initiative at International Jewellery London, each piece is designed and handmade exclusively by Sonal using Fairtrade 24ct Gold Vermeil, Silver and gemstones and personally wrapped in luxurious custom made raw silk packaging
